Our Finances
OPAL Trust derives its income from two principal sources:
- Donations and grants.
- Sales of literature.
Sales of literature generate some income but profit opportunities are not the driving force. Indeed selling prices are often significantly subsidised - therefore the Trust is dependent upon donations from local churches, individuals and grants. As a faith ministry the Trust is prayerfully reliant upon God for its financial support and operation.
As a recognised Scottish Charity, the Trust is able to accept gifts under the Gift Aid and Give As You Earn schemes (see also under ‘Our Needs – Giving’). Supporters may also wish to consider a legacy for the furtherance of the work of the Trust.
